ABOUT US

Welcome to the Chauvin and District Museum, a village museum based in eastern central Alberta. Established in 1982, we are currently undergoing major revitalization since 2022. We are proud to be 100% volunteer-based and have 20 exhibit galleries showcasing the unique history and culture of our village and the surrounding district. Our outdoor exhibits include the oldest building in the area, 4 vintage rail cars, a 1930s rural school, and a pioneer house. Our mission is to preserve and promote our local heritage and educate visitors about the rich history of our community. We hope you enjoy your visit!
